[originally in Japanese]

Yoshida has not bested me yet, and I don't think he ever will. I'm not sure he has the power to, but more importantly, I don't think he has the spirit to. He plays by a gentleman's rules, trying not to strike at all, at the cost of his own safety. Perhaps this is admirable in a classical sense, but such rules do not apply here and now. Against another opponent, he could've been killed. Perhaps he will be, one day.

Until the day when I've left Lehnsherr's fold, I won't try to do more than injure him. If the order should ever come, though, for us to fight with lethal force, I will make sure that he is the one I attack. He is not a dishonorable man - a bit cowardly, yes, but he's still earned a dignified end. It's interesting that we come from the same blood. Both mutants, but he's able to walk freely among humans, and I am not. I have a mutation that has the potential to be instantly lethal, while I still can't tell if he can use his for anything other than light burns and temporary blindness. (ーー;)I have to think that even if our families were united, he and I would still be on different sides of the battlefield.

Shiro-san, I hope you find your courage soon! Until then, our fights will be boring, and you will continue to have wounds to nurse. (ρ_―)

Hm.

But it is good to see family again, even if we are enemies. It reminds me that I am not completely alone here. Father's associates don't provide much comfort that way, but then, they're not supposed to.
